Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. 1 litre milk
  2. 1/2 cup Sugar
  3. 1/2 teaspoon saunf powder
  4. 40 gm pistachios
  5. Few saffron strands

Instructions

  1. Transfer milk to a heavy bottomed pan.
  2. Bring it to boil on a medium flame.
  3. Boil until it reduces to 3/4th on a low flame.
  4. Add sugar and boil on low flame.
  5. In a small cup add saffron strands and add little hot milk so that it leaves it's color and flavour.
  6. Now add this saffron to the boiling milk.
  7. Add saunf powder and boil.
  8. Add roughly grounded pistachios and boil for 5 minutes till all the flavours are released to the milk.
  9. Cool the milk and transfer it to a matka.
  10. Freeze it for atleast 3 to 4 hours.
  11. Kesar pista matka kulfi is ready.
