About Eggless Chocolate Brownies Recipe

The chocolate Brownies are a flat, baked square developed in the united states at the end of the 19 th century and popularized in both US and Canada during the first half of the 20 th century. The brownie is a cross between the cake and the cookie in texture. They mostly contain nuts – walnuts , other nuts can be used. These are popular served along with icecream for dessert.

Eggless Chocolate Brownies

Ingredients to make Eggless Chocolate Brownies

  • all purpose flour / Maida 1 cup
  • Cocoa powder 1 cup
  • Powdered sugar 1 cup
  • yogurt 1/2 cup
  • Canola oil / vegetable oil 4 tbsp
  • Baking powdert 1/2 tsp
  • baking soda 1/2 tsp
  • Chopped walnuts 1/2 cup

How to make Eggless Chocolate Brownies

  1. Sift the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder and baking soda thrice or more.
  2. In a bowl, whisk sugar, yogurt and oil together well. Add in the sifted flour mixture to the wet mixture and mix well.
  3. Add in half of the chopped nuts and mix well.
  4. Pour the mixture into the greased baking tin. Sprinkle the remaining chopped nuts on the top.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven at 220°C in the convection mode for 20 minutes or till the inserted skewer comes out clean.
  6. Take off from the oven and let it cool.
  7. Chocolate Brownies are ready to serve. Serve warm or cold.

My Tip:

Serve hot with a scoop of ice cream or warm with chocolate sauce. Even when cold, tastes delicious!. An absolute comfort food.
