A simple yet tasty macaroni recipe with chicken and veggies of choice. Made in a jiffy with easily available ingredients in the pantry.

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Chicken boneless cubes 350 gm
  2. Macaroni 500 gm
  3. Cumin powder 1 tbsp
  4. Chilli powder 1 tbsp
  5. Maggi Seasoning cube 1
  6. Garlic cloves 3 minced
  7. Onion 2 large
  8. Green onion 1 bunch
  9. Tomatoes 3 medium
  10. Green peas 150 gm
  11. Salt to taste
  12. Oil 3-4 tbsp
  13. Coriander leaves finely chopped a handful

Instructions

  1. Boil the water. Let it come to a rolling boil and then add the macaroni with little salt and a tsp of oil.
  2. Drain the boiled macaroni and keep aside.
  3. Now, cook the chicken and the veggies. In a pot, heat the oil, saute the onion,maggi cube and the garlic with the green onion.
  4. After they are sauteed well, add the chicken cubes along with the masalas.
  5. Saute it for about 10 mins and then add the green peas. I used frozen peas here. So added them directly. If you are using fresh ones, you can boil them before adding.
  6. Cover it and cook until done. Lastly add the finely chopped tomatoes. Let it get done on medium flame keeping the pot covered.
  7. The tomatoes will be done in 10 mins.
  8. Add macaroni to this and give it a good mix.
  9. Serve this hot and well garnished with coriander and dry parsley flakes
  10. Tasty and simple fatafat macaroni is ready to serve for dinner.
