Ingredients to make Vazhakka Bajji !!

  • Raw plaintain - 2
  • Besan - 1 cup
  • Rice flour - 1tbspn
  • Turmeric pwdr - half tspn
  • Salt to taste
  • Red Chilly powder - 1 tsp
  • Hing - 1 /4 tsp
  • Cooking soda - 1 pinch
  • Water for making batter
  • Oil for Deep frying

How to make Vazhakka Bajji !!

  1. Take a bowl and put Besan & other dry ingredients...Add water and make a thick batter .
  2. Now wash the raw banana/plaintain & cut into thin slices
  3. Dip into the batter till nicely coated & then deep fry them till nicely çrisp....
