ABOUT Caramalised Banana Fry RECIPE

Caramalised Banana fry is one of the quickest and easy dish, also this is a kids friendly dish can be prepared for snack box. This recipe is also good during Navratra as many avoid taking salt during fast.

Ingredients Serving: 2

  1. Kerala Banana ( Nedrapazham) - 2 (Ripe)
  2. Cardamom Powder 1 tsp
  3. Sugar 2 tbsp
  4. Grated Coconut 2 tbsp
  5. Ghee 2 tbsp

Instructions

  1. Cut banana into roundels
  2. Heat ghee in a non stick pan, add sugar and allow to caramelise until it turns brown.
  3. Once sugar turns brown add cardamom powder fry for second and add sliced banana allow it cook in low heat until it turns crispy and brown in color.
  4. Flip other side of banana and cook until it gets crispy.
  5. Add grated coconut, stir once and switch of the heat and serve hot.
