Lahsooni Methi Paneer

Ingredients to make Lahsooni Methi Paneer

  • Oil (i prefer to use mustard oil) 4 tsp
  • garlic finely chopped 3 tsp
  • onion 150 g or 1/2 cup finely chopped
  • curd 75 g
  • maida 1 tsp
  • coriander powder 2tsp
  • red chilli powder 1 tsp
  • turmeric powder 1/2 tsp
  • salt to taste
  • paneer 250g
  • Dry kasuri methi 2 tsp
  • Fresh cream 2 tsp
  • lemon juice 1 tspn
  • honey 1tsp
  • water 1/2 cup
  • For Garnish
  • ghee 2 tsp
  • garlic coarsely chopped 2 tsp

How to make Lahsooni Methi Paneer

  1. Heat oil in a pan.
  2. Put garlic (chopped) and fry till golden
  3. Add chopped onions and fry till translucent.
  4. Now mix curd and maida in a bowl. Whisk nicely.
  5. Reduce the flame and put curd mix.
  6. Cook it on low flame stirring continuously for 3-4 mins
  7. Now put spices coriander powder, red chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt.
  8. Fry nicely until the mix starts leaving oil
  9. Put paneer cubes in the pan
  10. Crush Kasuri methi and add it in the pan
  11. Mix it nicely
  12. Put 1/2 cup water and simmer it for 2 mins
  13. Now add lemon juice and honey mix and cook for 1 min
  14. Take the ready dish in a serving bowl
  15. For garnish heat ghee in a tadka pan and fry garlic in it
  16. Put it on the ready dish.
  17. Serve

My Tip:

Cook curd at low flame. And cook garlic till golden
