Paneer Badshahi

Ingredients to make Paneer Badshahi

  • Paneer 400 gram
  • Garam Masala 2 teaspoon
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 2tea spoon ginger paste
  • 3 big onion paste
  • 4 Green chilli
  • Cashew 30 gram
  • Kismis or raisin 40 grams
  • 1 and 1/2 tablespoon poppy seed
  • Kesar for marination
  • 2 cardamom
  • 2 cinnamon
  • Ghee 3 teaspoon
  • 1tsp ginger paste

How to make Paneer Badshahi

  1. Marinate paneer with ginger paste, 2 teaspoon garam masala 2 teaspoon salt
  2. Now make paste of 3 onions and keep in a bowl
  3. Make a paste of 4 green chilli and ginger keep it in a bowl
  4. Make paste of cashew raisin poppy seed and keep it in a bowl
  5. Now heat oil, fry paneer but do not make it brown. Just fry for 2 min
  6. In a wok add 2 teaspoon oil add 2 teaspoon ghee
  7. Add cardamon and cinnamon stir-fry for 1 minuite
  8. Fry onion paste for 2 minute
  9. Then put green chilli and ginger paste and fry for 4 to 5 minutes
  10. Now take cashew poppy raisin paste and fry it for 3 min if needed add 1 to 2 tablespoon ghee
  11. Now add paneer, stir-fry for 1 or 2 minutes. Add water about two and a half cup and let it boil and wait until water becomes half the volume
  12. Now add 1 teaspoon ghee 1 teaspoon garam masala again let it boil
  13. Wait until gravy becomes thick decorate with saffron. And serve hot
My Tip: Use saffron or rose petals for decoration
