Ingredients to make Green Banana Pickle

  • 1 Raw banana
  • Mustard seeds 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red dry chillies 5
  • Methi seeds 1/4 teaspoon
  • Hing powder 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt as per your taste
  • Tamarind piece lemon size
  • urad dal 1 teaspoon
  • Green chillies 2
  • oil 2 teaspoons
  • Coriander 3 teaspoons

How to make Green Banana Pickle

  1. Take raw bananas and directly steam on the stove until it turns black colour.
  2. Cool for sometime, peel the banana and collect the pulp.
  3. Take a pan, put some oil and fry mustard seeds, red chillies, green chillies, urad dal, hing powder, methi seeds and tamarind.
  4. Blend all the fried pulses in a mixey including banana pulp and add salt.
  5. Finally garnish with coriander leaves.
