Instant Rawa Onion Uttapam

Ingredients to make Instant Rawa Onion Uttapam

  • Suji 1 cup
  • Rice flour 1/2 cup
  • yoghurt 1/2 cup
  • Green chilli chopped 1_2
  • Fresh coriander leaves chopped 1 tsp
  • Curry leaves chopped 1 tsp
  • Salt 1/2 tsp
  • oil
  • oil
  • Hing a pinch
  • Whole cumin seeds 1 tsp
  • Water

How to make Instant Rawa Onion Uttapam

  1. Mix suji or rava , rice flour , yoghurt , salt and water . For consistency see the below picture , not very thick or runny .
  2. Heat 1 tsp oil , add whole cumin seeds , add chopped onion , chopped chilli , curry leaves and Asafoetida
  3. Saute for 5 mins
  4. Add the seasoning to the suji batter
  5. Mix well keep aside for 30 mins
  6. Heat a nonstick tawa or frying pan , put little oil
  7. Spread 1 spoon batter ( serving spoon )
  8. Sprinkle some chopped onions and coriander leaves
  9. Cover it for 5 mins
  10. Flip it and fry another side also for 4 _5 mins
  11. Continue all these steps until the batter finished up
  12. Serve with coconut , mint Chutney
  13. Serve immediately
