Spicy Pepper Chicken

Ingredients to make Spicy Pepper Chicken

  • Boneless chicken(Breast pc) 2 pieces
  • Cornflour 1/2 cup
  • Egg - 1
  • Capsicum - 1-2
  • Onions - 1-2
  • Green chilies 5-6
  • Tomato sauce 2-3 tbsp
  • Lemon juice/Vinegar 2-3 tbsp
  • Ginger-Garlic paste 1 tbsp
  • Soy sauce 2-3 tsp
  • Coarsely ground black pepper 1-2 tsp
  • Finely chopped Ginger-Garlic - 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1/2 tsp
  • Refined oil as needed
  • Salt to taste

How to make Spicy Pepper Chicken

  1. Cut the chicken into 3 inch long and 1/2 inch thick pieces. Cut the onions and capsicum into thin long slices.
  2. Marinade it with 1 tsp of soy sauce, egg, cornflour, ginger-garlic paste,1/2 tsp black pepper and salt. Keep it aside an hour.
  3. Heat oil in a shallow frying pan, fry the chicken pieces over medium heat till it is cooked perfectly and turns golden brown in color. Keep aside.
  4. In another pan, heat 2-3 tbsp of oil and add the chopped ginger-garlic, saute till the raw smell goes.
  5. Now saute the onions and whole green chilies with it, when the onion becomes little soft, add capsicum fry till it is 75% cooked.
  6. Add salt, sugar, soy sauce, tomato sauce, black pepper,1/2 tsp vinegar, toss it well.
  7. Cook for more 10 minutes and serve hot.

My Tip:

You can change the amounts of ingredients as per your taste.
