Ingredients to make GULABOSA..

  • All purpose flour/maida 1cup
  • oil for dough 4tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • beetroot pury 2tbsp
  • Spinach pury 2tbsp
  • Boil mash potato 1cup
  • Onion chopped 1
  • Green chilli 1
  • oil for filling 2tbsp
  • lalmirch powder 1/2tsp
  • Cumin seeds 1/2tsp
  • Curry leaves few
  • Ginger garlic paste 1tsp
  • coriender leaves chopped 1tbsp
  • Cornflour 2tbsp
  • water 8tbsp
  • Oil for frying
  • seasame seeds 1tbsp

How to make GULABOSA..

  1. Take all purpose flour add oil salt mix divide in two parts 2/3and1/3 add beetroot pury in 2/3part
  2. Add water and make a dough
  3. For filling heat oil in a pan add cumin seeds onion ginger garlic paste green chilli salt red chli powder turmeric powder to it Add boil mashed potato mix well add coriender leaves
  4. Take small ball of pink dough roll a little chapati
  5. Make 4cuts in the chapati
  6. Make a small ball of filling place in the middle of chapati
  7. Fold the one part of the chapati as shown in picTure stick properly you can wet its ends with the water for stiking
  8. Now fold 2nd part
  9. Then fold remaing two parts and make the rose and stick it properly
  10. Make cornflour slurry by mixing water and cornflour togather apply this slurry on filling
  11. Deep fry
  12. In 1/3part of all purpose flour add spinach pury add some water make a dough take small portion of dough roll it cut in leaf shape
  13. Deep fry this leaves
  14. Serve hot gulabosa with chutney and sauce

My Tip:

You can add veggies or cheese in the filling
