Ingredients to make Yummy and healthy Raw banana vada pav

  • Measuring cup usd 1 cup=250ml.
  • 4 raw bananas
  • 6 to 7 garlic +1 to 2 green chillie scrushed to a paste in a mortar pestle
  • 1/2 tspn mustard seeds
  • A pinch of asafoetida
  • 1/3 teaspoon of turmuric powder
  • 7 to 8 curry leaves
  • 1 tablespoon chopped coriander leaves
  • salt as required
  • For batter :-
  • 1 to 1.25 cups of besab
  • a pinch of hing powder
  • 1/3 teaspoon of turmeric powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon of lal mirch powder
  • 1 pinch of baking soda
  • 1/2 cup water or as required
  • salt as required
  • For green chutbey :-
  • 1 cup coriander leaves
  • 1 to 2 garlic cloves,chopped
  • 2 to 3 drops of lemon juice
  • 2 to 3 green chillies
  • salt as required
  • For saunth chutney :-
  • 1/2 cup of seedless tamrind
  • 1.75 cup of water
  • 1/2 teaspoon of cumin Seeds
  • 1/2 teaspoon of ginger powder
  • 1 pinch of hing
  • 1/4 teaspoon of lal mirch powder
  • 7 to 8 tablespoon of jaggery piwder or as required
  • 1 Teaspoon oil
  • Rock salt or black salt as required
  • Other ingredients :-
  • 2 tablespoon garlic poelwder chutney.it is optional
  • 8 pav or bread rolls
  • 4 fried green chillie mixed with some salt

How to make Yummy and healthy Raw banana vada pav

  1. Preaparing green chutney:- 1.grind all the green chuney ingredients with little water till smooth.avoid making of watery chuney Preparin saunth chutney:- 1.soak tamrind in hot water 30 to40 nin. 2.with your hand squeeze the pulp from tamrind in the same bowl and strain the pulp and keep it aside 3..heat oil in a small pan 4..lower the flame and add cumin seed and let them crackle 5.add ginger powder, red chilli powder and hing 6.stir and add strained tamrind pulp cook for 2 to3 min. 7.add jaggery and salt and cook for 4 to 5 min.more 8.mixture would thicken and let chutney mixture cool Preparing raw banana vadas :- 1.boil 4 bananas about 350ml of water till they are completely cooked.peel and then mashed them with fork in a bowl 2. heat 2 to3 teaspoon of oil in a pan add 1/2 tsp mustard seeds and crackle them then add 7 to 8 curry leaves and hing stir and saute fir about 5 sec. 3.then add 6 to7 garlic and rd chillies.add turmeric powder stir till the row aroma of garlic goes away. 4.pour the raw mashed bananas 5.add the chopped coriander leaves also add salt. 6.mix.everything well and make small to medium balls frim raw banana mixture.flatten these balls a bit and keep it aside T.in another bowl add oil, ingredients of batter.the batter should not be to thick or thin.keep aside. 8.in kadai or pan heat oil for deep frying 9.dip the slightly flattend raw banana balls in batter and coat it evenly with the batter 10.gently drop these batter coated bananas in hot oil 11.deep fry these vadas till golden brown evenly 12.drain them in kitche towel and keep aside 13.when they are still hot you need to serve them. 14.slice the pav without breaking it in two parts. 14.spread both the chutney on slced pav.placed the hot banana vada sandwiched in the pav 15.serve rhis raw banana vada pav immediately or else the pav become soggy.you can alsp served some fried chillies and both rhe chutneys along with.
