Ingredients to make Carrot pulav

  • Rice 2 cups
  • Carrots 4
  • Green chillies optional 2
  • Onion 1 sliced
  • Ginger paste 1 teaspoon
  • Jeera 2 teaspoon
  • Hing a pinch
  • Salt according to taste
  • Garam masala 1 teaspoon
  • Cloves 3
  • Ghee 2 tablespoons

How to make Carrot pulav

  1. Cut the carrots in small pieces. Slice onion.
  2. Now put ghee in a pan. When it's hot add cumin seeds , cloves and hing Then add onion .
  3. After this add ginger paste. When ghee separate from the masala then add dry masalas. Now add carrots. Fry for sometime.
  4. Then add soaked rice. Add 4 cups water.
  5. Close the lid. Stir the rice occasionally. When it's done serve with raita and chutney.
My Tip: Garnish with mint and coriander leaves
