Ingredients to make veg phad thai

  • thai flat noodles 180 gms
  • phad thai thasia sauce quarter bottle
  • onions 1 and a half nos
  • carrots 1 nos
  • capsicum 1/2 nos
  • spring onion 1 nos
  • celery 1 nos
  • garlic 5 cloves
  • Chinese cabbage 3 leaves
  • light soy sauce 2 swirls

How to make veg phad thai

  1. slice the veggies and crush the garlic
  2. boil the flat noodles for 3 - 5 mins and add salt & a little oil to it
  3. during that time, heat a stir fry pan in medium heat
  4. add the crushed garlic
  5. wait 25 secs and then add the onions
  6. wait 20 secs and then add the carrots
  7. once the noodles is ready, remove it from the water but do not waste the noodle water
  8. add a splash of noodle water to the stir fry mix to avoid it from sticking to the pan
  9. add the phad thai sauce, a splash of light soy sauce ad again top it with a ladle of the noodle water
  10. finally add the rest of the ingredients and put the heat up simmer
  11. after the mixture feels cooked, add the noodles and start mixing it
  12. top it with the noodle water if it feels dry and the desired salt
  13. you can add white pepper for increased spice if desired
  14. your phad thai is now ready

The non veg version can include either egg, chicken, red meat, fish or shell fish
