Steamed idlis with leftover rice. Very soft and spongy. Just try it once...you will love it.

Ingredients Serving: 10

  1. Boiled Rice 1 cup
  2. Normal rice 2 cup
  3. Cooked leftover rice 1/2 cup
  4. Urad daal 1 cup

Instructions

  1. Soak boiled rice, normal rice and urad daal for 6 to 7 hr.
  2. Drain the excess water and grind with cooked rice with required water.
  3. Make smooth paste.
  4. Not too thick not too thin.
  5. Keep the batter over night.
  6. Greased the idli maker with oil.
  7. Pour the idli batter as required.
  8. Steam idlis for 10/15 mins.
  9. Serve idlis with coconut chutney.
