Ingredients to make Stuffed Khandvi

  • Gram flour (besan) 1cup
  • Curd 1 cup
  • Turmeric powder 1/2tbsp
  • Ginger paste 1tbsp
  • Salt to taste
  • For Filling
  • Coconut Grated 4tbsp
  • Fresh Coriander 4tbsp chopped
  • For tampering
  • Oil 2tbsp
  • Cumin seeds 1tbsp
  • Mustard seeds 1 tbsp
  • Asafoetida a pinch
  • Curry leaves 8-10
  • Sesame seeds 1tbsp
  • Salt to taste

How to make Stuffed Khandvi

  1. Take gram flour in bowl mix curd or butter milk which is available..mix it well add 2 cup water turmeric ,salt and ginger paste again mix it well Leave for 5 minutes
  2. Heat a pan take 1tbsp oil and add the mixer in it,continuously stir it and when it's thick switch off the flame it takes 10 minutes in a low flame
  3. Now spread thin layer evenly on a surface( it may be plate)...for filling spread coriander leaves and grated coconut upon it Leave it for 5 minutes
  4. now cut in to layer by knief and give round shape..
  5. For tampering Heat oil in a pan add hing cumin seeds,mustard seeds, now add curry leaves ,sesame seeds a pinch salt when crackle sound stops add 1tbsp water Spread it over the khandvi You can also garnish with coconut It's ready to eat
My Tip: When you spread khandvi mixer on a surface dont put oil upon the surface because if u dont use oil khandvi will be spread easily and it will be thin
