Ingredients to make Ghiya paneer halwa

  • 250 g ghiya (shredded)
  • 250 g paneer (cottage cheese)
  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 green cardamoms
  • 1 spoon desi ghee
  • 20 cashew nuts (according to your choice)
  • 4 drops green food colour (optional)

How to make Ghiya paneer halwa

  1. Cook shredded ghiya on high flame till water drie
  2. Add 1 spoon desi ghee in it and stir
  3. Add sugar and mashed paneer and cook on medium flame.
  4. When halwa dries, add small pieces of cashew nut and powdered cardamom. Stir a little and remove from flame.
  5. Add four drops of green colour and mix. Serve hot.
