Whole Wheat, Oats and Banana Cake

Ingredients to make Whole Wheat, Oats and Banana Cake

  • 1 and 1/2 cup whole wheat flour
  • 3/4 cup oats grind into powder
  • 1 mashed banana (if using small then 2)
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 3/4 cup fresh curd
  • 1 and 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • black and green raisins 1 tsp each
  • badam and pistachio flakes
  • 1/2 cup sugar (if you want sweet add more)
  • olive oil 3/4 cup
  • grease the tin by applying butter and dusting flour

How to make Whole Wheat, Oats and Banana Cake

  1. In a bowl sieve all the dry ingredients (except sugar).
  2. In an another bowl take the mashed banana.
  3. Add all the wet ingredients, raisins and flakes.
  4. Now add wet ingredients to the dry one.
  5. Then fold the mixture with a spatula.
  6. Do not mix them with a spoon.
  7. Gently fold from downwards to upward.
  8. Pour batter into greased tin, sprinkle the flakes and tap the tin 8-10 times.
  9. Bake this cake in preheated oven for about 35 minutes.
  10. Now insert a toothpick, if it comes out clean then the cake is baked.
  11. Let it cool down completely.
  12. Remove it, keep it on the wire rack and drizzle some honey over it.
  13. Cut the cake into slices.

My Tip:

Drizzle the chocolate to enhance the taste.
