Ingredients to make Mushroom-cheese toast

  • garlic bread slices- 4
  • Chopped mushroom-1/2 cup
  • butter- 2 tsp
  • Grated mozzarella cheese- 1/4 cup
  • Refined flour- 2 tsp
  • Minced garlic- 2 tsp
  • garlic powder(optional)- 1 tsp
  • pepper powder- 1/2 tsp
  • Mixed herbs- 1 tsp
  • salt- to taste
  • Milk- according to need

How to make Mushroom-cheese toast

  1. In a pan heat butter, add minced garlic and sauté till the raw smell goes.
  2. Add chopped mushroom and salt, cook for a couple of minutes.
  3. Now add refined flour slowly to avoid lumps and mix well.
  4. Add little milk to make it into a paste like consistency, stir to avoid lumps.
  5. Now add grated cheese and all the spices, mix and stir. Make sure it is not very loose as we will use it as a spread.
  6. Apply this mushroom paste over bread slices and grill at 200 C for 7-10 minutes or until crispy.
