Ingredients to make Banana Raita

  • Steamed banana pieces - 2 cups
  • buttermilk - 1 cup
  • Tumeric - one pinch
  • Green chilies - 2
  • mustard seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • methi seeds - 1/4 teaspoon
  • hing powder - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red chilies - 3
  • oil - 1 teaspoon
  • coriander leaves - 3 teaspoons

How to make Banana Raita

  1. Take buttermilk in a container and add salt, turmeric, green chilies and steamed banana pieces to it.
  2. Take a pan, put oil and fry mustard seeds, methi seeds, hing powder and red chilies.
  3. Put the tempered pulses in buttermilk container, finally garnish with coriander leaves.
