These sticky swirly sweet banana cinnamon rolls are simple and healthy made only with fruit!

Ingredients Serving: 5

  1. Ripe bananas - 4
  2. Dates - 1 cup
  3. Cinnamon Powder - 1 teaspoon
  4. Vanilla essence - 1 teaspoon
  5. Water - 1/2 cup

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven at 180`C.
  2. Slice the banana lenghtwise into 3 strips.
  3. Lay out the slices on baking tray lined with aluminium foil. If You have any smaller strips that broke lay them out too.
  4. Bake for half an hour at 180`C.
  5. Once done remove from the oven and let them cool for 15-20 minutes.
  6. Meanwhile blend together the dates, cinnamon powder and vanilla essence in 1/2 cup water. Keep aside.
  7. Now gently run a knife under each banana slice to release it from the tray.
  8. Flip them over so the side with more moisture is facing upwards.
  9. Spread about 1 tablespoon of the date paste down the length of the banana slice. Roll.
  10. Repeat with the remaining slices. You can roll the shorter pieces inside the longer strips.
  11. Return them to oven for 10 minutes more.
  12. Remove from the oven. Allow to cool.
  13. You can have it immediately or refrigerate for a few minutes for a firmer consistency.
