How to make Plantain Pachadi

  1. Boil plantain in the pressure cooker for 3 whistles. Cool it and remove the outer skin of plantain.
  2. Add oil and green chilies in a pan and fry till the chilies change their color.
  3. Cool for a while and add green chilies, boiled plantain pieces, salt, garlic, cumin, tamarind paste and grind it on low speed for a while along with little curd.
  4. Now add the remaining curd and whisk for few seconds.
  5. Our chutney is ready and transfer it into the serving bowl.
  6. Now add seasoning to hot oil and add it to the serving bowl.

My Tip: Raw plantains are good for this Aratikaya Pachadi. Don't add too much of curd. See the thickness of the batter and then add curd accordingly.
