Masala veg and Soya Pulao

Ingredients to make Masala veg and Soya Pulao

  • rice 2 cups
  • Soya chunks 1/2 cup soaked in water
  • Green peas 1 cup
  • carrot 4 diced
  • potatoes 2 diced
  • jeera 1 teaspoon
  • Carom seeds 1 teaspoon
  • cloves 5
  • cinnamon 2 pieces
  • Green cardamom 4
  • garlic paste 2 teaspoon
  • ginger sliced 2 inch piece
  • onion 1 sliced thinly
  • green chillies 2
  • tomatoes 2 chopped
  • salt to taste
  • oil 3 table spoons
  • For Garnishing:
  • coriander and mint leaves

How to make Masala veg and Soya Pulao

  1. Add oil into a kadahi, and add jeera, carom seeds, cloves, and green cardamon and cinnamon.
  2. After that add sliced onions, ginger and garlic, chopped tomato and green chillies.
  3. When oil separates from masala add chopped vegetables and squeezed​ soya chunks.
  4. After this add rice and fry for 5 mintues. Add 4 cups of water.
  5. Close the lid and check time to time. When it's done. Garnish with coriander and mint leaves.
  6. Serve with cucumber raita.

My Tip:

If you want to make it more tangy add 1 lemon's juice while cooking.
