Ingredients to make banana fig pool with penne

  • chicken breast 1
  • For Marination
  • thyme leaves 25g
  • lemon Juice 1 lemon
  • salt
  • FOR THE SAUCE
  • banana 1 small
  • paprika 3tbsp
  • pepper 1tbsp
  • salt to taste
  • lemon zest 1/2 lemon
  • curry powder 1tbsp
  • coriander leaves 2tbsp chopped
  • butter 2 tbsp
  • cherry tomatoes 4
  • cooked penny pasta 100g
  • small cheese slices

How to make banana fig pool with penne

  1. Make deep cuts on chicken breast piece.
  2. Marinate chicken with the given ingredients.
  3. keep in the fridge for 2 hrs.
  4. take it out after 2 hrs . Heat a pan & place the marinated chicken in it. cook for 10 min on a very low fire.
  5. in the meanwhile, blend all the sauce ingredients in a blender.
  6. when the chicken is half cooked after 10 min, add the sauce on top of the chicken & let it cook for 5 min on each side.
  7. after that pour the remaining sauce on the chicken & add the cherry tomatoes with 1/4th cup of water & cook for 6 min.
  8. place the cooked chicken breast with the sauce and cherry tomatoes on top of the cooked penne
  9. best served with Sencha green tea
  10. can add & melt the cheese slices for added flavour

Can be served with either rice or pasta
