ABOUT Kache Kela aur Gajar Kofta RECIPE

Grated carrot and boiled raw banana is a delicious kofta. To make it healthy I have cooked the koftas in appam pan with very little oil. They can be served as a starter or snack. They taste wonderful plain also otherwise accompany them with green chutney, tomato ketchup, etc.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Raw banana: 1 (boiled, peeled, and mashed)
  2. Carrot: 1 (grated and peeled)
  3. Turmeric powder: 1/8 tsp
  4. Coriander powder: 1 tsp
  5. Chaat masala: ½ tsp
  6. Cumin seeds: ¼ tsp
  7. Salt as per taste
  8. Oil for cooking the koftas

Instructions

  1. Mix together raw banana, carrot, coriander powder, cumin seeds, turmeric powder, chaat masala, and salt.
  2. Make 6-7 small balls from the dough.
  3. Heat appam pan. Grease it.
  4. Keep the dough balls into the cavities of the pan.
  5. Cover it and let cook for about 4-5 minutes.
  6. Flip and again cook for 3-4 minutes.
  7. Take out on a plate.
  8. Serve hot with chutney, ketchup etc.
  9. Yummy “Kache Kela and Gajar Kofta” is ready!
