Banana pakoras

Ingredients to make Banana pakoras

  • Raw banana - 2
  • Besan - 4 tspn
  • Rice flour - 2-3 tspn
  • Haldi - 1 tspn
  • Chilli powder - 1 tspn
  • Black pepper - 1/2 tspn
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying
  • Orange food color - 1 pinch

How to make Banana pakoras

  1. Remove the skin of the banana sidewise with a knife as we are going to use that also.
  2. Cut the bananas firstly into half and then lengthwise in 4 equal parts.
  3. Put all of them in salt water.
  4. For batter : Add besan, rice flour, haldi, chilli powder, pepper, salt and mix.
  5. Add water such that the batter is neither too thick nor very runny.
  6. Add food color and mix.
  7. Now coat all the banana pieces and skin in the batter and dip fry.

My Tip:

Make sure not to add many pieces in the frying process as they can stick to each other.
