Ingredients to make Curry Leaves Cashew Fish fry

  • 1/2 kg Fish
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 teaspoon rice flour
  • To Grind:
  • 1 cup greeny curry leaves
  • 1/2 cup coriander leaves
  • 1/2 cup cashew
  • Lemon juice
  • Salt

How to make Curry Leaves Cashew Fish fry

  1. Grind a thick paste of all the ingredients under section " to grind ".
  2. In a bowl or plate place cleaned fish, apply generous amount of the ground paste and marinate it overnight or at least for 4 to 6 hours.
  3. Before frying the fish, sprinkle little rice flour on the fish.
  4. In a pan add 2 to 3 tablespoons of oil and fry the fish till cooked.
  5. Serve it with lemon wedges and onion.
My Tip: Add very little water to grind. Do not make it too watery otherwise it wont stick to fish.
