Banana semolina cake with cream frosting. Top these cakes with edible, organic flowers for a beautiful presentation.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1/2 cup roasted semolina
  2. 3/4 cup mashed banana
  3. 1 cup milk
  4. 1 cup all purpose flour
  5. 1 tsp baking soda
  6. 1 pinch of salt
  7. 3/4 cup sugar
  8. 1/3 cup butter
  9. 1 tsp vanilla essence
  10. Some chopped nuts
  11. For the cream frosting :
  12. 2 cup powdered sugar
  13. 2 tbsp Butter
  14. 1/2 Tsp Vanilla essence
  15. Some edible flowers for garnishing.

Instructions

  1. Combine semolina, flour, baking soda in a mixing bowl.
  2. Beat butter and sugar with a whisk. Add in banana and Milk and stir well.
  3. Now add banana mixture to the dry ingredients and mix well.
  4. Now add vanilla essence, salt stir until well incorporated. Let it soak for 10 minutes.
  5. Preheat oven at 180 C and grease the cake tin.
  6. Pour mixture into prepared tin and bake until golden for 30 or 35 minute. Or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
  7. For cream frosting :
  8. Combine ingredients and beat on medium speed until smooth and fluffy.
  9. Spread the frosting on the cake. Garnish with some edible flowers and chopped nuts. Enjoy.!!
