Mixed Vegetable Bajji Platter

Ingredients to make Mixed Vegetable Bajji Platter

  • Basan Flour – 200 gram
  • Rice flour – 1 soup spoon full
  • Maida – 1 tspn
  • bicarbonate soda – 1 pinch
  • Salt – to taste
  • (For bajji vegetables: long bajji chilli, Green banana, spinach, cauliflower, Onion, potato)
  • Kashmiri red chilli powder – 1 tspn
  • Asofeotida – 1 pinches
  • Curry leaves – 1 tbspn chopped
  • Ginger garlic paste – ¾ tspn
  • Oil – for frying
  • Red food colour – 1 pinch ( optional)

How to make Mixed Vegetable Bajji Platter

  1. Peel the skin from green banana and potato, cut potato and onion into round shape, cut long bajji chilli (koda molaka) and green banana lengthwise. Wash spinach and cut the thick stem and drain the water. Wash the cauliflower and cut it.
  2. Add little water and mix all the ingredients except (vegetables), to become a thick batter (like idli batter consistency).
  3. Heat oil on a medium flame. Dip the all veggies in the batter. Pour it in a hot oil one by one and deep fry till golden brown
  4. Crispy Mixed Bajji platter is ready to serve with tomato ketchup.
My Tip: If you want more crispiness then add a little suji
