Ingredients to make Masala banana fry

  • Raw banana - 6
  • Haldi - 1 tspn
  • Chilli powder - 1 tspn
  • Black pepper - 1/2 tspn
  • Dhania powder - 1/2 tspn
  • Mustard seeds - 1 tspn
  • Curry leaves - 4 to 5
  • Lemon juice - 1 tspn
  • Salt
  • Oil for frying

How to make Masala banana fry

  1. Cut the raw bananas into very thin slices without removing it's skin.
  2. Put the slices immediately in salt water for 5 min.
  3. Heat oil, add mustard seeds and curry leaves and let it splutter.
  4. Add the bananas slices and cook for 5 min.
  5. Add haldi, chilli powder, pepper, dhaniya , salt and mix.
  6. Cook on low to medium flame without covering.
  7. Check whether the slices are cooked. Cook for another 1 min to make it crispy.
  8. Switch off the flame and add lemon juice.
My Tip: Cut the slices as thin as possible. It will help to get it cooked faster and make it crispy.
