Ingredients to make Khajurpaak(Dates dessert)

  • 1 and 1/2 kgMaskati dates ( one type of dates)
  • 250 gm dry fig 250 gm walnuts 250gm cashew nuts
  • 250 gms dry raisen+pistachio+almond
  • 4 tbsp ghee
  • 1 tsp ginger powder ( sunth)

How to make Khajurpaak(Dates dessert)

  1. Completely wash dates. Thereafter cleaning it,deseed them.
  2. Chop all dry fruits and roast each,individually in only 1 tbsp ghee one after another separately but Ghee should not exceed 1 tbsp.
  3. Taking thick bottomed aluminum kadai, heat 3 tbsp ghee. Roast ginger powder.
  4. Now add washed,deseeded and cleaned dates. Mix well. Roast it for a while. ( only few minutes)
  5. Empty in greased aluminum square tray or container, cake it cutting it into square cubes with greased knife.let it cool.

My Tip:

Can be consumed with warm milk soaking one or two chunks in it,for dinner. Very healthy and nutritional. Dieters have to watch out for extra calories.
