Then add black pepper and cloves powder to it and mix them perfectly. Now, add boiled raw bananas and lemon juice and mix them well. Your yummilicious Kache kele ki khichadi is ready, garnish it with coriander leaves, raisins and almonds and serve it.

Ingredients Serving: 1

  1. Raw banana: 1 ½ (boiled, peeled, and grated)
  2. Groundnuts (moongfali): ¼ cup
  3. Cumin seeds: ½ tsp
  4. Green chili: 1 (chopped)
  5. Curry leaves: 4-5
  6. Laung powder: ¼ tsp
  7. Black pepper powder: ¼ tsp
  8. Oil: 1 Tbsp
  9. Lemon juice: ½ tbsp
  10. Coriander leaves: 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
  11. Raisins: 5-6
  12. Almond sliver: 1 tbsp
  13. salt as per taste

Instructions

  1. Heat oil in a kadai. Add cumin seeds and fry for a few seconds.
  2. Add green chili and curry leaves and fry for a few seconds.
  3. Add groundnuts and fry for some time.
  4. Add black pepper powder and laung powder and mix well.
  5. Add raw banana and salt. Mix well.
  6. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  7. Garnish with coriander leaves, raisins, and almond slivers.
  8. Yummy “Kache kele ki khichadi” is ready!
