Banana-rice pudding

Ingredients to make Banana-rice pudding

  • 1.5 liter milk
  • Half cup milk powder
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 3 bananas
  • 1 small cup rice powder (fresh homemade)
  • 1 tspoon elaichi powder
  • Few saffron strands
  • Handfull of Crushed almonds

How to make Banana-rice pudding

  1. Boil milk for 10 mins
  2. Add rice powder and sugar
  3. Add milk powder and stir it well
  4. Stir it every 3-4 mins, so that milk doesn't stick at bottom
  5. Let it cook for half hour
  6. Now add mashed banana
  7. Add elaichi powder and soaked saffron strands
  8. cook on slow flame for about 5 mins
  9. Switch off the gas. Keep for rest for half hour
  10. Take it out in single serving bowl
  11. Sprinkle crushed almonds
  12. Keep it in fridge for at least 2 hour
  13. Serve chilled
