Ingredients to make Basundi

  • 1 litre Milk
  • 1/2 cup vercimili (seviya )
  • Some saffron strands
  • 1/2 tsp cardamom powder
  • 1/2 tin condensed milk
  • pistachios for garnish

How to make Basundi

  1. Take a pan and roast seviya
  2. Take a pan add milk and start reducing the milk
  3. Dissolve saffron into milk
  4. Add roast seviya into boiling milk and cook till it becomes thick and cooked well
  5. Add cardamom and saffron milk into seviya add condensed milk and cook for two minutes and switch off the stove
