Banana poori

Ingredients to make Banana poori

  • Ripe banana 3
  • Whole wheat flour 2 cups
  • Sugar 1cup
  • Curd 1/2 cup
  • Ghee 2 tablespoon
  • Fennel seed 1 tsp
  • oil to fry

How to make Banana poori

  1. First peel banana cut into pieces put in the mixer jar with sugar and curd grind it well
  2. Take a bowl add flour in it, add ghee and mix well to make a crumb texture. Add curd banana mixture, fennel seeds and kneed in a very good dough. Rest it for 15 min .
  3. Now heat up the oil in a wok
  4. Take a small ball from the dough and roll it with rolling pin to make round poori. Like this make all the poories
  5. Now fry the poories on a low flame
  6. Drain the excess oil and keep on the kitchen towel
  7. Serve hot or after its a little cold.

My Tip:

You can make poories with maida too for good colour but i prefer a healthy version :smiley:
