Ingredients to make Fried & Crunchy Figs/Plums with Rose Berry Sauce

  • Figs/plums 4
  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • Cornflour 2 tsp
  • Salt as per taste
  • Yeast 1 tsp
  • Oil 1 cup
  • Suji 2 tsp
  • For the Rose berry sauce:
  • Rose petals 1 cup
  • Sugar 1/2 cup
  • Water 1 cup
  • Roseberry 1/2 cup
  • 1 cup sugar for caramel

How to make Fried & Crunchy Figs/Plums with Rose Berry Sauce

  1. Mix wheat flour, suji and corn flour, add yeast and make a thick paste with the help of water. Add a pinch of salt. Keep aside to ferment for 2 hours.
  2. Take fig/plums, dip in this paste and deep fry.
  3. Caramelise the 1 cup of sugar and dip the fried figs in it one by one. Transfer on to a serving dish.
  4. In a pan, add 1 cup of water, rose petals and boil it. Add in the rose berry and sugar (make a thick sauce).
  5. Serve fried figs with rose berry sauce and garnish with rose petals.

You can make also with Figs.
