Sweet crispy star

Ingredients to make Sweet crispy star

  • Wheat flour 1 cup
  • 1 thread sugar syrup 1/2 cup
  • fennel seeds 1 teaspoon
  • Coconut powder 4 tablespoon
  • Semolina 1 tablespoon
  • Ghee or oil 2 tablespoon
  • Oil for frying

How to make Sweet crispy star

  1. First collect all the ingredients.
  2. Mix all ingredients and make a semi soft dough. If necessary then add 2 tbsp milk.
  3. Let it rest for 30 minutes.
  4. Heat oil in a wok.
  5. Make a small ball from the dough.
  6. Roll it flat using a rolling pin.
  7. Cut it with a star shape cookie cutter.
  8. Fry in hot oil on low flame till it becomes red.
  9. When it becomes brown take out from the oil and keep on tissue paper.
  10. Let it cool. Whenever it's completely cool it will be more crispy.
  11. Serve with sauce/Chutney/Pickles.
  12. Keep in airtight container. It will be fresh for 15 to 20 days.
My Tip: Fry on sim flame. It will be more crispy.
