Ingredients to make Chocoshares

  • Marie biscuits- 20 to 25
  • Coffee powder-1 tbsp
  • cornflour-1 tbsp
  • Ground sugar-2 tbsp
  • Cocoa powder-4 tbsp
  • sugar-8tbsp
  • ghee-2 tbsp

How to make Chocoshares

  1. Prepare all the ingredients for first step- Marie biscuits, cornflour, coffee powder and ground sugar.
  2. Now take cornflour, coffee powder and 2 spoons sugar in a bowl.
  3. Add water and make a thin solution.
  4. Take one biscuit at a time and dip in this solution such that both sides are coated and keep on foil which we prepare on a plate beforehand.
  5. Keep one biscuit above other.
  6. After the stack is complete, wrap the foil around it tightly and seal from all sides.
  7. Keep in fridge for an hour so that the biscuits bind together.
  8. Then remove and prepare a paste of cocoa powder, sugar and ghee. If needed add few drops of milk to make it smooth but the paste should be thick.
  9. Mix properly to form a smooth paste.
  10. Now apply it on the biscuit log evenly.
  11. Slowly cover entire log with cocoa paste.
  12. Now keep it in fridge again to set
  13. After 1 hour remove from fridge and cut slanting pieces as shown below.
  14. Keep cuting till the end to get beautiful chocoshares.
