Banana Firni

Ingredients to make Banana Firni

  • Full fat milk 2 Lt
  • Mashed ripe banana 1 cup
  • Rice flour 100 gms
  • Mawa 250 gms
  • Kesar soaked in warm milk 8 strands
  • Sugar 100 gms
  • Cardamom powder 1 tspn
  • Mix dry fruits 2 tbspn
  • Silver paper to decorate

How to make Banana Firni

  1. First keep 1.5 lts milk on high flame to boil in a heavy bottom pan.
  2. Add mawa in the milk.
  3. Now take rest of milk & mix mashed banana, riceflour in it till lump free.
  4. Add this mixture in the boiling milk.
  5. Add cardamom powder, kesar & sugar in it
  6. Keep stirring
  7. Soon milk will start to thicken
  8. Cook till desired consistency is achieved and switch off the flame.
  9. Now pour firni in bowls and garnish with dry fruits & silver paper.
  10. Chill it for 5-6 hours.
  11. Serve chilled
