Moist Banana Cake

Ingredients to make Moist Banana Cake

  • Self-rising flour 1 and 1/2 cups
  • sugar 3/4 th cup powdered
  • Soda bicarbonate 1 teaspoon
  • bananas 3 ripe ones
  • eggs 2
  • 1 Tablespoon Vanilla Essence
  • A pinch of salt
  • Walnuts or cashewnuts 2 tablespoons (for garnishing)

How to make Moist Banana Cake

  1. Line a loaf tin with butter paper.
  2. In a bowl mix together the flour, powdered sugar, salt and soda bicarbonate. Keep aside.
  3. In a separate bowl mix together the eggs, oil and banana, with a hand blender or mixer till you get a creamy texture.
  4. Combine the mixture along with the flour and mix well until smooth.
  5. Pour mixture into the loaf tin and bake at 150°c for 60 minutes.
  6. Let it cool for 10 minutes then remove it from the tin and put it on a wire rack to cool further. Slice and enjoy. :blush:

My Tip:

Use ripe bananas, don't over mix it. Make sure there are no lumps in the batter.
