Ingredients to make Banana Bajji

  • Raw banana - 2
  • Oil - ½ cup
  • For batter:
  • Gram flour - 1 cup
  • Rice flour - 1 tbsp
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 tsp
  • Chilli powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt to taste
  • Baking Soda - ¼ tsp
  • Asafoetida - A Pinch
  • Water as required

How to make Banana Bajji

  1. Peel banana and cut them in half. Slice them thinly. Set this aside till use.
  2. Mix all the ingredients given for batter to a smooth paste. The batter should not be too thick nor thin.
  3. Heat oil in a frying pan. Dip the banana sliced in batter and fry on both sides till golden and crispy.
  4. Drain on a paper towel. Serve with any chutney of your choice.
