ABOUT Masala Aloo Roti RECIPE

Masala Aloo Roti is simple unique flavoured roti made with wheat flour, aloo, spices and green herbs. You can relish this soft roti with tea, coffee, any vegetable or dal.

Ingredients Serving: 6

  1. Boiled potatoes 1 big
  2. Wheat flour 1 cup
  3. Schezwan sauce 2 tbs
  4. Chilli ginger paste 1 tsp
  5. Salt
  6. Oil 1 tbs
  7. Chopped Coriander and mint leaves 1/2 cup
  8. Cumin seeds coarsely grinded 1 tsp
  9. Water
  10. Oil for cooking roti

Instructions

  1. Smash boiled potatoes add Schezwan sauce, chilli ginger paste, salt, coarsely grinded cumin seeds, chopped coriander and mint leaves mix well.
  2. Add wheat flour, oil and knead the dough with the help of water. Do not add much water.
  3. Rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Heat roti tawa on medium flame.
  5. Make small balls from the dough and roll medium size roti.
  6. Cook this roti on the tawa on both sides then apply oil will spatula again cook to make golden brown crispy roti.
  7. Masala aloo Roti is ready to serve with any vegetable, Dal or even with tea or coffee in breakfast
