Ingredients to make Maggi american chopsuey

  • 2 bars of maggi noodles
  • 1 cup shredded cabbage
  • 1 cup shredded carrot
  • 1 cup shredded peppers
  • 1 cup slices onions
  • 1 Cup Tomato Sauce
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • Salt to taste
  • 2 tbsp Vinegar
  • Oil to fry the noodles and to cook the sauce
  • Maggi masala

How to make Maggi american chopsuey

  1. Boil the maggi in plain water till it's half done then fry it on a medium heat till it turns crispy.
  2. In a sauce pan add 4 tbsp oil. When it's hot add the onions saute for 30 secs. keep the flame on a high heat. Add the carrots, cabbage and peppers one by one into the sauce pan and saute for 2 mins
  3. Add the tomato sauce..mix it well with the vegetables and add the maggi masala mix it too
  4. Add 200ml of water or as per your desired consistency. Stir the sauce well dissolve the corn starch in 1/2 cup water
  5. When the sauce starts to boil add the corn flour solution to the sauce pan and mix it well to avoid any lumps to be formed
  6. Add salt to taste, add vinegar and mix it well.
  7. To serve place fried maggi in a plate, pour the hot sauce over it and serve immediately.
My Tip: Don't over cook the vegetables otherwise it will loose its crunchiness
