Ingredients to make Black Forest Cake in a Glass

  • 2-3 slices - chocolate sponge cake
  • 1/2 cup - whipped cream
  • Few cherries cut in halves
  • 2 tablespoon - Coffee Mix
  • Coffee Mix:
  • 2 tbsp - strong coffee
  • 1 teaspoon - sugar
  • 1 tbsp - water
  • Chocolate vermicelli for garnishing.

How to make Black Forest Cake in a Glass

  1. Layer the sponge cake in the glass.
  2. Spoon the coffee mixture using about 2 tsp at a time. Spoon the cream on it.
  3. Add a layer of cut cherries on the cream. Repeat the layers till you reach the brim of the glass.
  4. Chill in the fridge and let the flavours infuse.
  5. Serve decorated with chocolate vermicelli and cherry.
My Tip: Use some liqueur to moisten the cake in place of coffee. It taste amazing.
