Ingredients to make Chickpeas and coconut Pooran Poli

  • chickpeas / Chana daal 1cup
  • sugar 1 cup
  • Grated coconut 1/2 cup
  • Grated cashew 10
  • Grated almond 10
  • Grated cardamom 3
  • butter/ Desi Ghee 1/2 cup
  • wheat flour 1cup
  • salt to taste
  • butter for poli

How to make Chickpeas and coconut Pooran Poli

  1. 1 cup chickpeas 3 cup water soak overnight
  2. Wash it and drain the water..put in a cooker with 2 cup water in a low flame for 3 whistle
  3. When it's cool drain water and grind it Untill it's formed smooth paste...u can use mixer grinder or pooran grinder
  4. Now heat the pan put butter after its melt put mixer and 1 cup water..mix it well in a low flame
  5. Put sugar and add coconut,dry fruits
  6. For 20 minutes countinuous stir it...in a low flame
  7. After its thick add cardamom..pooran is ready
  8. When it's fully cool put in fridge for 15 minutes
  9. Make a soft dough of wheat flour add salt in it
  10. Now make chapati stuffed it with pooran and Cook it with butter both sides...like PARATHAS
