Ingredients to make DAHI KE KEBABS

  • 1/2 CUP PLAIN yogurt- TO BE HANGED FOR ABOUT HALF AN HOUR TO AN HOUR
  • 2 medium boiled potatoes
  • 2-3 SLICES BREAD
  • 1 BUNCH FRESH mint LEAVES
  • 1 tsp gram flour
  • 1/2 cup cheddar cheese
  • 2 TSP mango powder
  • 1 tsp chilli Powder
  • salt to taste
  • 1/2 CUP BREAD CRUMBS TO ROLL
  • 2TBSP CORN flour/CORN STARCH
  • oil to fry

How to make DAHI KE KEBABS

  1. MASH THE POTATOES IN BOWL.
  2. NOW ADD HUNG CURD, MANGO POWDER, SALT, RED CHILLI POWDER, GRAM FLOUR, CHEESE AND MIX IT
  3. CHOP THE MINT LEAVES FINELY AND ADD IT TO THE MIXTURE
  4. KEEP ADDING THE BREAD SLICES TO THE MIXTURE UNTIL THE CONSISTENCY A BIT THICK AND YOU CAN MAKE BALLS OUT OF IT, KEEP IT ASIDE
  5. IN A BOWL ADD CORNFLOUR AND SOME WATER TO IT TO MAKE DIPPING LIQUID
  6. NOW DIPS THE KEBAB BALLS IN THE CORNFLOUR WATER AND ROLL BREAD CRUMBS OVER IT
  7. HEAT THE OIL ON HIGH FLAME AND FRY THE KEBABS UNTIL GOLDEN BROWN ON HIGH FLAME.
  8. SERVE HOT WITH KETCHUP AND GREEN CHUTNEY.

My Tip:

THE CONSISTENCY OF THE KEBAB MIXTURE WILL BE A BIT SOFTER THAN REGULAR MIXTURES. USE SOUR YOGURT TO GIVE THAT EXTRA TANGY TASTE TO IT.
