ABOUT Sago Balls ( Sabudana Vada) RECIPE

A light, easy to make and fun-filled snack.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. 1 cup soaked sago
  2. 3 medium sized boiled and mashed potatoes
  3. chopped Mint leaves half a cup
  4. Chopped Coriander half a cup
  5. Mango powder 1 tsp
  6. Red Chilli powder 1-2 tsp
  7. Chopped Green Chillies 1-2
  8. Chopped ginger 1 tsp
  9. Salt to taste
  10. oil to fry

Instructions

  1. Soak Sago in half cup water over about 4 hours.
  2. Mix the soaked sago with boiled potatoes .
  3. Add Mint leaves, Coriander leaves, green chillies, Red chilli powder, ginger,Mango powder and salt to taste and mix all well.
  4. Make small medium size balls of the batter.
  5. Warm some refined oil in a frying pan.
  6. Fry the balls until turned golden in color.
  7. Serve with ketchup or green chutney.
