Ingredients to make Masala maggi noodles

  • 4 cakes Maggi noodles
  • 4 Maggi masala powder sachets that come with the maggi noodles
  • 3 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion chopped
  • 2 tomatoes sliced and deseeded
  • 1 tbsp ginger garlic paste
  • ½ tsp red chilli powder
  • ½ tsp salt
  • Chopped coriander and mint leaves

How to make Masala maggi noodles

  1. Break each Maggi noodle cake into 4 pieces and keep ready.
  2. Heat oil in a pressure cooker, add onions and saute till onions turn golden.
  3. Add ginger garlic paste and saute till the raw smell goes.
  4. Next add red chilli powder, salt and tomatoes and cook for a few minutes till oil starts oozing out.
  5. Add maggi masala powder and mix well.
  6. Add 8 to 9 cups water and bring to a boil.
  7. When water starts boiling, add maggi cakes and chopped coriander and mint leaves.
  8. Close the lid of the pressure cooker and pressure cook for 3 whistles.
  9. When all the steam has come out, open the lid, transfer the maggi masala noodles to a serving bowl.
  10. Serve hot.
