  • 1 litre milk
  • few strands of kesar
  • 1/2 cup Sugar
  • two ripe sitaphal deseeded
  • 2 green cardamom crushed
  • Chopped Pistachios and Almonds

How to make Sitaphal Basundi - A truly delicious dessert

  1. Add kesar to the milk. Boil milk in a pot to reduce it to half. Stir continuously to prevent burning.
  2. Add cardamom and sugar.
  3. Add sitaphal at the end. Boil for 3-4 minutes.
  4. Switch off the flame.
  5. Allow it to chill before you serve.
  6. You can also serve with chopped and fried dry fruits.
