ABOUT Paneer Chilly Dry RECIPE

Popular Indo Chinese dish served as starter,cooked with green chillies to make it hot and spicy.

Ingredients Serving: 4

  1. Paneer- 250gm
  2. Capsicum and Onion-2+2medium size (cut into square pieces)
  3. Ginger-garlic paste -2 tsp
  4. Ginger-garlic finely chopped-2 tsp
  5. Onion finely chopped- 1.5 cup
  6. Vinegar+chilli sauce+Tomato sauce -1+1+1tsp
  7. Soya sauce- 2 tsp
  8. Green chillies -5-6 slit lengthwise
  9. Cornflour -2 tsp mixed with 1/3 cup water.
  10. Oil-3 tbsp+ frying
  11. Coriander leaves chopped-3-4 tsp
  12. FOR PANEER MARINATION:
  13. Cornflour +Refined flour(Maida)-4+4tsp
  14. Red chilli powder-1 tsp
  15. Garlic paste-2tsp
  16. Salt to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Cut paneer into cubes ,mix all ingredients of marination to make a smooth batter using water ,add in all paneer cubes and keep in fridge for 30 minutes to marinate.
  2. 2.Heat oil in a pan.add chopped ginger- garlic.After a minute add green chillies.chopped onions and saute till transparent with light brown color.
  3. 3.Meanwhile fry the marinated paneer till nice crisp .Also in another pan stir fry the capsicum and onion(square pieces) for 3-4 minutes till cooked.
  4. 4.Now when onions turn light brown add ginger-garlic paste,red chilly powder and saute for few minutes.
  5. 5.Add fried paneer,capsicum and onion which we gave a stir fry,all the sauce(tomato ,chilly,vinegar,soya),salt, saute and after two minutes add cornflour mixed with water,stir evenly otherwise cornflour will gather at a place
  6. 6.Sprinkle chopped coriander leaves and serve hot.also u can add more pepper or chillies according to your taste.
